Why Protestants Need Saints, Too

saints

A great article! Our Catholic church is very messy (because we take anyone), and easier to understand if you see that it's a big family, with angels and saints being the aunts and uncles of the family, the older more learned group. (We of course are the kids.) And there surely should be room for the new saints you mentioned.
(PS) I write popular books on angels and am always explaining this point to Protestant groups who think we worship angels and saints. Not to think of it. We're just gabbing, like we would at any family picnic.

As a Lutheran, I'm down with the Saints. Not necessarily the intercessory part, but definately the "great cloud of witnesses" part. Tis a comfort...

I agree. I'm a Protestants, but I have rosaries and icons. I love being a part of the eternal community.

Not just the Protestants

What about the Jews? We don't even get the graven image - so cheers to the big sloppy family of saints.
