Roger
Thank you so much for your tribute to Roger. Roger was a fraternity brother of my brother's and my husbands. We worked together at the Pittsburgh Playhouse where he was the stage director and I was the wardrobe mistress. He knew my husband and our home life. He knew my brother and my family. He knew the people that I worked with and my relationships with our co-workers. I felt like Roger could see my very thoughts. I just found out, through my brother, that he had died. I felt the breath slowly leave my body and I thought I would never inhale again. We lived with Roger for a while in Fox Chapel. One night we were partying and Roger was trying to sleep because he had a logic exam the next morning. We dubbed him "the little fury" that night. Poor guy was just trying to do something in the real world. I lost track of Roger a couple of years ago and was not able to locate him. I always thought I would have time later. He was loved and will be missed. Thanks again. Mary ....................................................................................................................................

Remembering Roger
Thank yo so much for writing this tribute to Roger. It meant alot to me and my wife to find out what became of Roger. He was one of my best friends in college. The last two years, Roger, his girlfriend, Lynn Yarrington, my wife, Ruth Frankel, and I were a foursome. Lynn and Ruth were roommates and serority sisters. Ruth and I have now been married for 39 years. It was a twist of fate that I was not in the corvette when Roger crashed. I visited him every day at Allegheny General Hospital, 2 months, until his released. Ruth and I moved to New York City after graduation and live in Manhattan to this day. We saw Roger a few times after but, life goes on, and we drifted apart fast. If you want to know about those days feel free to ask. I can tell story after story. You are right, he was the funniest human being on the planet. Did you know that he finished undergraduate school at Pittsburgh ONE credit shy of getting a diploma. He was very proud of that. That tells you something! ....................................................................................................................................

What a lovely tribute. How many people ever get such a remembrance? I feel like I knew this sweet person myself.
