Jeremiah Wright

For some strange unexplainable reason I just do not believe that Pastor Wright believes his own rhetoric. If he hates America so much, why does he still stick around? No, my feeling is that he loves America, but would like to recreate it in the image of Jeremiah Wright rather than God.

Given that most of what's in the Bible is time-distorted legend (there are more "errors" in the Bible than there are words, according to one scholar), it's hard to know where Jesus would have fallen in the political spectrum but the Romans do seem to have killed him because he was a pain in the Assyrian.

Having said that, modulo his rather paranoid views on AIDS, nothing Wright has been saying is especially new or radical.

Right on? Wright on.

Wright article?

"Our precious Lord was not the meek, gentle lamb we like to make him out to be. He was a noisy, rabble-rousing lefty whose legions were the poor and the disenfranchised. He had fits of rage and told the oppressors where to go. He didnýt care if he pissed people off. That was his job. Yes. That was his job."
Are you kidding me? I could not believe you believe this statement. One act of throwing the temple tables hardly even implies in anyway that it was Jesus' job to piss people off. Far from it, it was His job to save our souls. Being new to this site, I was appalled at the lack of insight this article displayed. Rev. Wright is wrong, and Obama should not be held accountable for it. And I am a Hillary supporter, she couldn't get better news. I am so disappointed in the lack of clarity but am not surprised as even Hannety was quoted. I just am flabbergasted! Just please go back and read the teachings and sayings of Jesus.

LOL... and who said American politics lacked color... wonder if Rev. Wright will be at Martin Luther King's memorial unveiling in Washington... maybe keynote speaker?
