Wrote one reviewer regarding The Book of Daniel's Jesus:

"You wouldn't trust this dude to score you a nickel bag of pot or scalp tickets to a Grateful Dead Show, never mind lead you to eternity."

I wish they would have picked on a Methodist. Episcopalians don't need the negative impression this program creates for a lot of people who only know us as the church with a gay Bishop. We're so much more than that.

And another thing, the pace is much too rapid; any thread
of continuity is lost. Many of the episodes contribute little to the main theme.

The reviews carried here are
on target. I also want to
object, vigorously, to the
overwhelming number of commercials, and promos for
upcoming NBC shows. Over half
the footage fell into these
categories. Argh!

truly horrible

It was pure tripe. A ridiculous caricature of liberal Christian theology- his sermon at the beginning was a joke. I'd rather Hollywood just continue ignoring progressive Christians than make them look like fools.
